Missie volbtracht is een schilderij uit een serie bestaande uit 7 werken.
Dit is gemaakt met vele lagen olieverf, verschillende soorten olie en vernissen en goudpoeder.
Al de 7 werken zijn even groot. De 1 is horizontaal de ander verticaal.
Samen voltooien zij de volgeslaagde missie. Maar afzonderlijk zijn ze prachtig, maar nog steeds op missie.
De titel heb ik bedacht, omdat het lang heeft geduurd eer ik de perfecte kleurcombinatie en verhoudingen gevonden had. De vele lagen groen creëren een diepte, alsof je beland in een ander universum. Zoek de reis in dit prachtige mysterieuze schilderij van Sander Veen.

Het gaat ook over de schepping. (Genesis 1:1-2)
In 7 dagen is de missie geslaagd.
De vormen worden vormgegeven en de orde komt na de chaos.
Toch is het de oerknal en sterrenstof die de missie vanaf het begin heeft doen slagen.

Mission accomplished is a painting from a series consisting of 7 works.
This is made with many layers of oil paint, different types of oil and varnishes and gold powder.
All 7 works are the same size. The 1 is horizontal, the other vertical.
Together they complete the fully successful mission. But individually they are beautiful, but still on a mission.
I came up with the title because it took me a long time to find the perfect color combination and proportions. The many layers of green create a depth, as if you have ended up in another universe. Find the journey in this beautiful mysterious painting by Sander Veen.

It is also about creation. (Genesis 1:1-2)
In 7 days the mission was accomplished.
The forms are shaped and order comes after the chaos.
Yet it is the Big Bang and stardust that made the mission a success from the start.
